The " Flying Lanterns", which is kind of tradition for Chinese, I also have seen it in Thailand as well. For this tradition, people can write there wishes on lantern, light it up make the wishes fly to sky, hope the wishes will come true someday.
Nowadays, people are wondering is the lanterns will really fly to sky and burn itself at the end to pass the wishes to God?
The Reality is Not. At some point the fire would off, and the lanterns will just drop some where in mountain, someone's house roof, and ocean.
This is a man, who did the experiment with GPS on the lanterns, track it where to go, supposed to find it back, turn out didnt, but find the other lanterns.
